During a visit to Washington, officials highlighted the effectiveness of the country’s air defense systems and the resilience of its citizens and residents. A statement was made emphasizing that the UAE model of life is not only focused on prosperity but also on security, reflecting state leadership and national spirit.

Discussions also focused on freedom of navigation, specifically addressing the global economic impact of any disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz. It was reiterated that the strait is an international public utility that should not be subject to the control of any single party. Statistics were cited showing that the strait is a vital passage for nearly half of the world’s energy supplies, a major artery for essential goods, including 30% of global fertilizers, 25% of liquefied natural gas, 25% of oil, and 70% of petrochemical materials.

Calls were made for sustainable conflict solutions that address root causes of instability and protect vital global trade infrastructure. The strategic partnership with the United States was noted as growing stronger, with recent tensions actually enhancing close coordination between the two sides. Investment in the US economy was cited at over one trillion dollars, with a commitment to an additional 1.4 trillion over the next decade. Space exploration cooperation was mentioned as an example of the ambitious and innovative nature of this bilateral relationship.

The visit to Washington included meetings with members of Congress, policy experts, and non-governmental organizations to discuss deepening relations and supporting sustainable economic growth and global stability.
