High-resolution satellite images captured on Wednesday reveal barriers recently constructed near three entrances to a facility. These barriers consist of earth embankments, rubble piles, and what appears to be fencing. Analysis indicates these barriers were established on or after March 18, as no similar constructions were observed in images taken prior to that date. The facility is believed to be underground and contain a significant portion of Iran’s enriched uranium. The entrances to tunnels leading into the site have been filled with earth, with no apparent efforts made to reopen them.

Reports state that the road leading to the southern entrance of the Isfahan facility is closed by two barriers: one made of an unknown material and the other an earth mound approximately two meters wide. Two vehicles were observed parked on the road, suggesting continuous security monitoring of the site. The main tunnel entrance and the adjacent structure, presumed to be a service depot, are the most fortified areas.

An earth barrier has been completed, and construction is underway on another barrier along the road leading to the entrance. Additionally, three smaller barriers were detected near what appears to be an existing security checkpoint. Satellite imagery shows a barrier sealing most of the entrance to the underground service depot. The entire area appears to be fenced, and a vehicle potentially used for transporting soil was observed near the entrance.

The main road leading to the northern entrance is blocked by a large pile of earth, flanked by two other barriers of earth and rubble closing a side road. All previously existing gates near the entrance are reported to be closed. The institute suggests the purpose of these barriers is to slow movement around the facility entrances and complicate any potential ground invasion to seize the enriched uranium. It was also noted that while removing the earth and rubble with appropriate machinery is possible, it would significantly increase the time required to reach the underground facility.
