Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a video address following the announcement of talks between the United States and Iran. In the speech, he asserted that during the past six weeks of military operations, Israel has achieved “huge achievements,” describing them as “almost unimaginable.”
Netanyahu stated that Iran is currently weaker than at any point in the past, while Israel has become stronger. He noted that Israel still has objectives to fulfill, whether through reaching an agreement or resuming combat, affirming that the country remains ready for action.
Regarding the ceasefire between the US and Iran, Netanyahu indicated it was reached with Israel’s consultation. He emphasized that Israel has destroyed Iran’s ability to produce new missiles and noted that remaining stockpiles are also depleting, while Tehran’s nuclear program has suffered severe damage.
Netanyahu pointed out that Iran has regressed “many years” while Israel continues to form new alliances in the region. He clarified that enriched uranium believed to be in Iran will be removed from the country, either as part of an agreement or through the resumption of war, stating that the US agrees on this matter.
Netanyahu asserted that the ceasefire with Iran “will not include Hezbollah,” and Israel will continue to target the group. He described the current attack on Lebanon as the strongest since the Beka’a strike.
Hundreds of people were killed and injured on Wednesday due to a series of intense Israeli strikes targeting wide areas in Lebanon, described as the fiercest attacks in months. Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam stated that Israel is “unconcerned” with regional and international efforts to halt the war, calling on Lebanon’s friends to intervene to stop the Israeli aggression.
