The Kyiv region is facing a massive missile and drone attack from Russian forces, with reports indicating that casualties have been recorded. On the eastern front, the city of Kharkiv has been subjected to continuous Russian air raids for more than 24 hours.
Ukrainian authorities reported four missile strikes overnight, accompanied by the deployment of drones. In the morning, police confirmed five injuries and damage to residential and office buildings. Continuous air raid sirens were heard throughout the city yesterday as Russian forces repeatedly targeted Kharkiv. Emergency services noted that the drones used possessed rapid jet thrust and very short flight times, complicating interception efforts. Located just 40 kilometers from the Russian border, Kharkiv remains a strategic target for Russian forces.
