Head of Communications at Khartoum Bank, Mudhi Mohamed Amin, announced his resignation from the institution after 33 years of service to join the open market. In a statement released on his personal page, Amin expressed his gratitude to the bank’s board of directors and colleagues for their support, friendship, and professional development over the decades.
Journalist Musaab Mahmoud commented on the resignation, stating that despite their acquaintance lasting only a few years, the years of war in Egypt cemented a bond of trust and brotherhood. Mahmoud described Amin as a selfless figure dedicated to the bank and humanitarian causes, expressing regret over not meeting him earlier.
Mahmoud elaborated on Amin’s character, describing him as clean in both appearance and essence, devoid of hypocrisy, and known for his generosity and hospitality. He highlighted Amin’s significant role during the previous war, specifically his involvement in the “Shukran Masr” initiative, which helped raise the bank’s profile across Egypt. A key achievement mentioned was the opening of a bank window at the Sudanese Embassy in Cairo to facilitate banking services for Sudanese citizens, a role that extended to other banks.
Mahmoud noted Amin’s unwavering dedication, citing his habit of answering calls around the clock to provide advice on account recovery with patience and professionalism. Amin’s career trajectory within the bank spanned 33 years, starting at the counter and ascending through various departments to become Director of the National Company and subsequently Head of Corporate Communications.
