Zamir stated that Iran launched a two-stage ballistic missile with a range of 4,000 kilometers targeting a US site in Diego Garcia. He warned that these missiles pose a direct threat to European capitals such as Berlin, Paris, and Rome, rather than being directed specifically at Israel.
Zamir noted that the Iranian regime has weakened significantly following three weeks of conflict, stating that Israel has achieved substantial progress in its military operations. He warned that Israeli attacks on Iran will continue throughout the Jewish holiday of Passover, which begins on the evening of April 1st and lasts for a week.
Zamir emphasized that Israel will persist in targeting the “head of the snake” until security is restored in the region. He explained that the Israeli military is operating according to a precise plan, having already executed strikes against Iran while remaining prepared to bolster defensive measures in the north.
Regarding the proxy group Hezbollah, Zamir described it as a key agent of the Iranian regime, asserting that intensifying strikes against Iran will inevitably weaken Hezbollah. He confirmed that the Israeli army is mobilizing to neutralize threats at the borders, stating that troops will take up positions at the front lines to act as a barrier between civilian populations and any potential danger.
