Israeli military officials indicated that the joint campaign against Iran has reached a strategic juncture, noting significant progress toward previously set objectives. The army vowed to continue operations with determination, signaling that strikes against the Iranian regime will deepen in the coming phase. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israeli forces targeted railways and bridges used by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. In a statement, Netanyahu stated that Israel is crushing Iran’s “terror system” with increasing force, noting that yesterday’s strikes destroyed transport aircraft and dozens of helicopters, while today’s operations targeted the infrastructure used by the IRGC. He affirmed that Israel is moving with “greater firmness and increasing power.”
Iranian officials reported that at least two bridges and railway infrastructure, along with a main road, were damaged by the strikes. Additionally, the Iranian Mehr News Agency reported that the strategic Kharg Island, located in the southwest of the country and a key hub for oil exports, was targeted by American and Israeli forces, with multiple explosions heard in the region. President Donald Trump had previously threatened to “wipe it out.”
