Gold prices in Sudan increased today, with the price of 21-karat gold in Khartoum reaching 547,029 Sudanese pounds, compared to 540,403 pounds yesterday. A significant price gap of 120,000 pounds per gram was recorded between Port Sudan and mining areas across the country.
Prices in Port Sudan, Atbara, and Darmali reached 520 pounds per gram, while El-Abeidi and Abu Hamad recorded 517,000 pounds. Qubbay also saw prices of 517,000 pounds. In the Northern State, Dalqo recorded 515 pounds, and Jebel Al-Nimir and Wadi Halfa both recorded 510,000 pounds.
In southern regions, Um Fakrun and Umdurman recorded 490,000 pounds per gram, followed by Nuriya at 485 pounds and Theley at 480,000 pounds. The Sudan Gold Refinery Company recorded 475,000 pounds, while Qamrib recorded 460,000 pounds. Lhor and Foga both recorded 450,000 pounds, and Abor City recorded the lowest price at 400,000 pounds.
