إسرائيل تعلن شن ضربات في وسط طهران

A brief statement indicated that Israeli forces are currently striking targets in the heart of Tehran. Multiple Iranian cities reported explosions resulting from Israeli and American air strikes. According to Iranian media, three explosions were heard in the Damavand area of Tehran, followed by a series of blasts at a military base in the Abshar region. Explosions were also reported in the cities of Ferdows Karaj and Kermanshah, with the tremors extending to the Lengeh port in Hormozgan province.

Iranian Strikes on Southern Israel

On Saturday, more than 100 people were injured in two Iranian rocket attacks on southern Israel, marking the deadliest strikes in the country since the war began three weeks ago. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu threatened to respond “on all fronts.”

Eighty-four people were injured, with 10 suffering critical wounds, after a rocket strike targeted the southern city of Arad, causing widespread damage, according to rescue workers. Footage showed rescuers inside a damaged residential building in Arad.

Earlier, a rocket strike targeted the city of Dimona, located in the Negev desert and home to a nuclear facility, injuring 33 people, according to rescuers. In a statement, Netanyahu said, “This is a very difficult night in the battle for our future… we are determined to continue striking our enemies on all fronts.”

Iranian state television stated that the rocket attack on Dimona was a response to “the enemy’s” bombing of the Natanz nuclear facility earlier on Saturday. The rocket landed in a residential area in Dimona, approximately 5 kilometers from the nuclear facility.

Located in the Negev desert, Dimona hosts Israel’s main nuclear facility, which maintains a policy of ambiguity regarding its nuclear program. While officially stating that the reactor is used for research purposes and neither confirming nor denying possession of nuclear weapons, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) estimates that Israel possesses 90 nuclear warheads.
