Commander of the Sudan Shield Forces, Lieutenant General Abu Aqila Kikile, responded to the statement by Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Ata regarding the integration of auxiliary forces by reaffirming the commitment to the Armed Forces and the unity of ranks behind them until the liberation of the entire country. During an Iftar gathering held in Duhay village, in Um Qura locality, Al-Jazirah State, which brought together residents and fighters, Kikile stated that the slogan “One Army… One People” has become a reality embraced by the Sudanese people and auxiliary forces fighting alongside the Armed Forces in a single trench within the Honor Battle.
He noted that the course of operations is proceeding steadily and that the war is nearing its end with a victory for the Armed Forces and their allied forces. He confirmed that internally displaced persons across Sudan will return safely to their cities and villages once security and stability are restored. Kikile urged citizens to ignore rumors propagated by some media platforms regarding disagreements among auxiliary forces, emphasizing that all these forces are fighting under a single flag and under the command of the Armed Forces. He reiterated his pledge to move forward without retreat or hesitation until every inch of Sudan is liberated from the contamination of the Rapid Support Forces militia. He confirmed that the forces that have succeeded in liberating many areas will continue until security and stability are restored and displaced persons return to their homes. In concluding his remarks, Kikile praised the leadership of the Armed Forces, affirming that the Sudan Shield Forces will remain a steadfast support for them in the Honor Battle until full victory is achieved and Sudan is liberated.
