Since the start of the recent military campaign, 189 ballistic missiles were launched toward the country. Of these, 175 were destroyed, 13 fell into the sea, and one landed on domestic territory. In parallel, 941 Iranian drones were detected; 876 were intercepted, while 65 landed inside the country. Furthermore, 8 loitering munitions were destroyed, causing minor collateral damage.
The attacks resulted in casualties, including three deaths—of Pakistani, Nepalese, and Bangladeshi nationalities—and 78 minor injuries among citizens and residents of various nationalities, including Emiratis, Egyptians, Sudanese, Ethiopians, Filipinos, Indians, and others listed.
The government attributed the explosions heard across different regions to the interception of ballistic missiles, drones, and loitering munitions by air defense systems and fighter jets. These interceptions resulted in minor to moderate material damage to civilian properties.
The authorities strongly condemned the military targeting, describing it as a “savage aggression” and a “blatant violation of national sovereignty and international law.” The statement emphasized that the state reserves the right to respond and take all necessary measures to protect its territory, people, and interests.
Regarding security, the Ministry of Defense confirmed its readiness to handle any threats and the adoption of firm measures to prevent any destabilization. The safety of citizens, residents, and visitors was highlighted as the top priority.
