Multiple nations have issued updated travel advisories urging their citizens to leave specific regions, citing deteriorating security conditions and rising tensions. Finland’s Foreign Ministry has updated its guidelines, advising citizens to avoid travel to Iran and to immediately leave Yemen and Libya. The Australian government has instructed the families of diplomats in Israel and Lebanon to depart, citing worsening security. It has also offered voluntary departure options for staff in the UAE, Jordan, and Qatar, while advising its citizens in Israel and Lebanon to consider leaving while commercial flights remain available. Serbia has called on its nationals in Iran to leave as soon as possible due to increasing tensions.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has stated that Polish citizens must leave Iran immediately. The United States is withdrawing non-essential embassy staff and eligible family members from its embassy in Lebanon. Sweden’s Foreign Ministry advised citizens on January 12, 2026, to avoid travel to Iran and leave immediately, with a subsequent statement clarifying that those remaining should not expect government assistance for evacuation. India has urged citizens currently in Iran to leave using available transport, including commercial flights.

Cyprus advised its citizens on January 13, 2026, to avoid travel to Iran and leave immediately. Singapore has instructed citizens to continue postponing all travel to Iran. Germany has urged its citizens to leave the country, noting that commercial flights are still operational and that road travel is an option. Brazil recommended its citizens leave Iran last week, following a similar warning for Lebanon in January, and had previously advised against travel to both nations.
