The reserves of Brigade 769, operating under the 91st Division, continued focused ground activity to expand the security zone in southern Lebanon. During operations, troops located an underground complex containing military equipment and combat means, including uniforms, RPGs, explosives, Kalashnikov rifles, sniper weapons, and gear for long-term residence. The army published images and videos showing part of the seized weapons stockpiles.
In related developments, the military released a video showing a militant cell in southern Lebanon before it was targeted by an airstrike. Additionally, the army issued evacuation orders for residents of several Lebanese villages, including Namiriya, Babbilya, and Nabatiyeh, directing them to leave their homes and move north of the Zahrani River.
Sunday saw a wave of Israeli airstrikes across various areas in Lebanon. Targets included the towns of Shemr and Mushghara in the eastern Bekaa region, as well as the city of Nabatiyeh in the south. The Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that three people, including two women, were killed and three women injured in an airstrike on the Ayn Sawayda hills in eastern Mount Lebanon on Sunday.
The ministry confirmed a total of 39 deaths and 136 injuries across Lebanon on Sunday alone. Overall, the Lebanese Health Ministry stated that 1,461 people have been killed and 4,430 injured since the start of Israeli strikes on March 2, following Hezbollah’s entry into the war.
