In retaliation for the targeting of the Tehran refinery, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that the Haifa refinery in Israel had been hit by a missile strike, according to the Fars agency.
Regional tensions have escalated following a wide-scale attack by the United States and Israel on Iran on February 28, which resulted in casualties, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and senior military officials.
