British police arrested Andrew on Thursday on suspicion of misconduct while serving as the United Kingdom’s Special Envoy for International Trade.
A statement signed by King Charles was released regarding the matter, stating, “What follows now is the full and fair path, appropriate to the proper investigation of this matter by the competent authorities.”
The King added, “In this regard, and as I said before, they have our full support and cooperation.”
He emphasized that justice must take its course, stating, “Let me make it clear: justice must take its course.”
