مقتل 22 شخص بينهم مدير مستشفى الكويك وإصابة 8 آخرين جراء قصف بمسيرات

Rapid Support Forces shelled Al-Qwaiq Hospital located on the road linking Kadugli to Al-Dilling in South Kordofan, resulting in the death of 22 individuals, including the hospital’s medical director and three medical personnel, while eight others sustained injuries.

The Sudanese Doctors Network condemned the targeting of medical facilities and staff, describing it as a war crime and a flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and conventions that guarantee the protection of civilians and medical institutions.

The Network emphasized that this attack is part of a series of assaults in South Kordofan that have forced several hospitals to shut down, exacerbating the humanitarian crisis and threatening the remaining healthcare services available to civilians.

The organization held Rapid Support Forces fully responsible for the crime and called on the international community, international organizations, and human rights groups to take immediate action to stop the recurring attacks on healthcare facilities.
