Egyptian journalist Ahmed Abada described his departure from Sudan as a moment of mixed emotions, stating that the Sudanese people possess innocent hearts and a deep connection to the past, emphasizing that Sudan is not just a word but a vital vein and artery. He noted that the Sudanese people lived through isolation and are returning to unity to strengthen it, carrying beautiful sentiments and a pulse of love for Egypt. Abada congratulated the Sudanese people on their voluntary return to their homeland to support their leaders, while stressing that nations are precious and should not be lost to the pain of alienation, despite the ability to sense the homeland’s soil across miles and years. The journalist extended his gratitude to the “Hope Committee for Voluntary Return” and the “Social Peace Committee,” as well as to media professionals and journalists for the warm reception and discussions regarding the depth of Egyptian-Sudanese relations. He specifically thanked Sudanese TV and Al-Zarqa Channel, alongside various media outlets and positions, for highlighting this bond. Abada concluded by thanking the heads of these committees and a list of colleagues and journalists, including Dr. Seddik Matar, Dalia Elias, and others, affirming that “Thank you Egypt” carries deep meanings of love, support, loyalty, and appreciation.
