رضا بهلوي يطالب ترامب بتدخل "عاجل" في إيران

The dissident living in exile in the United States, who has frequently called for mobilization against the Iranian regime in recent days, expressed hope that the US President would realize the extent to which urgent intervention could save lives and help put an end to this unwanted regime. He added that the primary demand of Iranians, both inside and outside the country, is assistance, clarifying that intervention is a humanitarian effort aimed at saving lives that will continue to be extinguished unless this happens.

The US President has hinted at military intervention in Iran while simultaneously calling for a negotiated solution. This comes after a crackdown on protests resulted in thousands of deaths in January, according to human rights organizations. The President announced on Friday that he has ordered the deployment of a second aircraft carrier to the Middle East, stating it will arrive “very soon,” and added that regime change in Iran would be the “best possible outcome.”

On Sunday, the dissident stated that if he were to lead Iran through a transitional phase, he would stimulate democratic and secular opposition and unify their ranks, whether they support a constitutional monarchy or a republic. The goal is to discuss these issues properly and allow the majority of Iranians to decide the country’s future through a fully transparent democratic process under international supervision.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army is preparing new offensive plans for all combat fronts, while the US is adding further mobilization preparations in anticipation of a confrontation with Iran. Tens of thousands demonstrated on Saturday in cities including Munich, Toronto, Melbourne, and Los Angeles in support of an international movement against Tehran. The dissident expressed pride in his compatriots, both inside and outside the country, for showing an unprecedented unity of ranks.

Regarding the nuclear program, the US and Israel differ on the file, with Western nations and Israel claiming Tehran seeks nuclear weapons, while Iranian authorities deny this and insist on their right to a civilian nuclear program. Geneva talks between the US and Iran are scheduled for Tuesday, mediated by Oman. Iran and Washington resumed talks in Muscat on February 6 after months of collapse following Israel’s twelve-day war on Iran last June. Commenting on these negotiations, the dissident described the Iranian regime as “buying time” by engaging in talks that will not lead to anything.
