السوداني يوجّه بملاحقة مستهدفي السفارة الأميركية في بغداد

The spokesperson for the Sudanese Presidency stated that Prime Minister Mohamed Shia al-Sudani has ordered military and security forces to pursue perpetrators who fired projectiles at the perimeter of the US embassy in Iraq and bring them to justice. The Prime Minister reiterated that targeting diplomatic missions in Iraq is unjustifiable and unacceptable under any circumstances, warning that such actions threaten national security and the country’s stability. The statement noted that the perpetrators are abusing Iraq’s sovereignty and security, describing the groups involved as “out of control” elements that do not represent the will of the Iraqi people. It was also emphasized that the decision to use war or military actions remains the exclusive domain of the state, representing the national decision confirmed by the government on various occasions. Meanwhile, Iraqi air defenses intercepted rockets fired at the US embassy in Baghdad on Saturday evening, according to three security sources. This marks the first attack of its kind on the embassy in the Iraqi capital since the start of the US-Israel war on Iran last week.
